Inclusion of the journal “Physics of Wave Processes and Radio Systems” in this database will make it more visible on the World Wide Web, expand scientific cooperation and promote original research by Russian scientists, including Samara ones, in the latest research in optics, radio physics, electronic component base of micro- and nanoelectronics, quantum devices, radio engineering, including television systems and devices, antennas, microwave devices and their technologies.
“Physics of Wave Processes and Radio Systems” was founded in 1998 by Samara State University and Volga Region State University of Telecommunications and Informatics. In 2015, after the merger of Samara State University and Samara State Aerospace University, Samara National Research University became a co-founder of the journal.
The journal was registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications – PI No. FS 77-68199 dated 12/27/2016.
The journal is included by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in the List of leading scientific journals and publications released in the Russian Federation, in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor of Sciences and Candidate of Sciences, as well as bibliographic databases VINITI, Grossref, RSCI (NEB eLIBRARY.ru ), SciUp, “Cyberleninka”, “Lan”.
It is published once a quarter.
The International Scientific and Technical Conference “Physics and Technical Applications of Wave Processes” is regularly held on the basis of the journal.
