The names of those to get the prize of the Governor of the Samara Region have been announced. Annually, 50 money prizes of 20,000 rubles each are allocated to support the students that have achieved significant results in their academic, research, public, cultural or sport activities. Seven students and two postgraduates from the Samara University have won the prize this time.
Significant results in the research work have been acknowledged for Maxim Benedyuk — second year student of the Master’s Degree, Natalya Rodenko — third year postgraduate student, Oleg Frolov — fourth year postgraduate student, and Artem Yurtaev — second year student of the Master’s Degree.
Also, noted for significant results in their studies are: Vladislav Deryabin — second year student of the Master’s Degree, Amirdzhan Muminov — second year student of the Master’s Degree. Noted for significant results in her cultural activities is Yekaterina Surdina — second year student of the Master’s Degree. Noted for significant results in their public activities are Daniil Zhilkin — first year student of the Master’s Degree, Anastasiya Muravyova — fourth year student of the Bachelor’s Degree.
18 Students Encouraged with a Scholarship from the Head of the Region
The results of the contest for the scholarship of the Governor of the Samara Region for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year have been summed up. The scholarship is provided to students of Bachelor and Master’s Degrees that have successfully passed their sessions and work on some scientific researches. The scholarship is assigned twice a year — based on the session’s results and the expert conclusion of the academic advisor. Also, students’ victories at the youth scientific conferences of the university are taken into account. The sum of the scholarship is 30,000 rubles — it is a one-time payment exempt of the income tax.
18 students of the Samara University that had already received diplomas of the University’s Final Youth Conference have become winners this year.
