This year, the celebrations were held in a new format — the cultural, sports, and interactive programs were prepared for participants.
Key creators of the Lukachev Street Day are students from all institutes and faculties — bright, creative and energetic people. The arranged more than 60 academic, sports, musical, creative, volunteering, and media venues with interactive content. Each guest could try on the role of a performer or a journalist, conduct scientific experiments, sing or dance.
For the first time ever, the Lukachev Street Day featured a construction game dedicated to establishment of an International Interuniversity Campus in Samara which would be located on the territory adjacent to the Solidarity Samara Arena stadium to enable development of the current university locations.
Participants of the game — students and guests of the University — tried on the roles of architects, urban planners, and designers. They suggested their ideas on filling the campus with infrastructural facilities, specified their functions and intended use in terms of eight major areas: education, science, everyday routine, communication, rest, sports, infrastructure, and career.
Using 1,000 little cubes with 3 cm faces game participants arranged them on the campus layouts 3х4.5 m each in size. A detailed description of the facility was attached to each cube. The most interesting and elaborated ideas would be transferred to the project office. It is worth reminding that the International Interuniversity Campus is to be created in the framework of the Science and Universities National Project under personal supervision of the Governor, Dmitry Azarov.
Also, the organizers of the game will transfer all the ideas to the online map which is to be published on the University website soon.
The ideas regarding development of the Southern and Northern venues of the Samara University will also be generalized, and the most exciting ones are expected to be brought to life till the end of 2023.
Being a student in the Samara University also means promoting sports. In the framework of the Lukachev Street Day, team field meets were organized by the military-training center together with Sokol (“Hawk”) SSAU, the student military-patriotic association. Beyond that, the students of various faculties and institutes competed in team and individual sports. Also, the results of the Young Student Family Contest were summed up during the celebrations.
