Skype conference with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University was held in SSAU. It was initiated by SSAU Workforce Management Centre.
It is assumed that this kind of work will become the standard in preparation of international meetings for all national universities.
"We would like to make our meetings more targeted and thus the most effective – says Viktor Kovelskiy, Head of the Workforce Management Centre. - We perform multistage talks which include both personal meetings of ordinary employees, e-mails and Skype conference. As a result, during the official visit of our delegation or of a delegation of any foreign university-partner - its members will come specifically to the particular laboratories and scientific and educational centres and meet the right people. I believe that this is a specific know-how of the Samara Aerospace University".
Thus, during the Skype conference with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, both sides discussed already formed lists of the research works, which they previously exchanged by e-mail.

Kudryavtsev, Dean of the Faculty of Radio Engineering (navigation systems and satellites) and V. P. Zakharov, Head of the Department of Laser and Biotechnical Systems (biomedical systems) attended the meeting.
The Professors of Hong Kong declared their interests in the field of space, engines for aircraft and spacecraft, biotechnology and medical systems as well as renewable energy sources.
In addition, the meeting was announced an interest in development of academic mobility of the faculty, graduate students and PhDs.
The official visit of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in SSAU is planned in March 2015.
