International contracts for supply of technologies and equipment on almost half a million USD have been made during the visit.
At the same time a cooperation agreement has been made with Alcoa Scientific and Technical Centre in educational directions. Currently six SSAU students and young scientists attend special courses and prepare to defend Master's dissertation in the areas selected by Alcoa in magnetic-impulse metal working. Alcoa Scientific and Technical Centre undertake to pay tuition fees and scholarships for training of these specialists. Two best students in this group will be trained and will have the opportunity for further employment in Alcoa Scientific and Technical Centre in Pittsburgh.
