On September 15, 2014 the Second International Scientific and Technical Conference "Engine Dynamics and Vibroacoustics 2014" will be opened in Samara State Aerospace University. The conference will bring together experts from the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Germany, England, Austria, Poland, Brazil and the USA, as well as representatives of Russian universities, the largest industrial enterprises and the leading scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The work of seven scientific sections the conference will take place within the conference. The leading scientists of the Rhine-Westphalian Technical University of Aachen (Germany), Federal University ABC (Brazil), Tampere University of Technology (Finland) and Purdue University (USA) will present their reports at the session meetings on robotics and mechatronics.
Meeting of educational and methodical commission in the speciality of "Hydraulic machines, hydraulic gear and hydropneumatics" will be held in the section devoted to the problems of higher education. It will bring together representatives of the national universities, which conduct trainings in this specialty. Professor Milos Vukovic (Germany) and Professor Heikki Handrus (Finland) will also present their reports and share their countries' experience in the training of engineers.
Discussion of the organization of the joint training programs and getting of double diplomas by the students from different countries will also take place. The talks on establishment of the joint laboratories with American and Brazilian universities in SSAU will be hold.
For reference. Dynamic and vibroacoustic processes accompany the operation of any machine from computer equipment to aircraft and spacecraft. Even very small variations affect the quality and reliability both separate units and the whole device. Usage of acoustic and vibration protection systems is capable of not only to extend the life of a complex and expensive equipment by several times, but also to make its use more convenient and comfortable for people. Therefore, basic and applied researches in this area is more required by the major enterprises of aerospace, automobile, metallurgy and petrochemical industry, as well as energetics and transport.
