The results of the "Best Young College Professor - 2014" contest have been announced. The contest is held by Samara Region branch of the Russian Federation Educational Workers' and Scientists' Trade Union, Samara Region Trade Unions Federation and the Regional Rector Council.

This year the participants included Vladimir Iliykhin, Associate Professor, Director for Mechatronic Systems and Robotics Complexes Center of SSAU.

The contest at the second, personal, stage implied running a creative presentation on "My Scientific Initiative in Higher Education Development" as well as a master-class. Vladimir showed the jury how to involve the students into scientific research using creation of a students' robotics engineering team as an example.
