International Scientific Conference "Problems and Perspectives of Engine Building" will be held on June 25 to 27, 2014 at SSAU.
The goal of the conference is to locate the most important directions and summarize the accumulated experience in engine research, design, construction integrity, reliability, production and improvement, as well as training the specialists for the aerospace and other industries.

The conference covers the following topics::
- Problems of reliability of engines, energy units and related systems.
- Prospects of engine development and application for aviation, spacecraft, automobiles, and stationary power stations;
- Problems of aviation engine conversion.
- Engine theory and working processes.
- Integrity and design of engines and related systems.
- Integrity problems and non-linear dynamics of deformational environments.
- Friction, wear and reliability of frictional parts.
- Acoustics, vibration and dumping problems in engines.
- Burning and thermal exchange processes in energy units;
- Environmental issues in engine building, energy and spaceship industries.
- Production and progressive technologies in engine building.
- Automatic processes in engine design.
- Engine adjustment, fuel supply and controlling systems.
- Engine building education.  

The official languages of the conference are Russian and English.
A collection of abstracts and articles will be published (advertising space in the volumes is available).    
The deadline for the application is May 15, 2014.
